After Summer Camp we took a quick trip to visit with some family. We then began gearing up for our Fall events. The biggest being Outdoor Education: Trees-R-Terrific! We are learning all about trees this fall and will have school groups near and far join us to learn about trees. We take them on nature hikes to teach them to identify native trees, show them paper making, talk about one of the biggest trees in the world, and talk about the different things that come from trees. Its a huge ministry and education with hundreds of kids (and teachers and parents) joining us every day for four weeks, a different group every day. We are so excited! (We also have many volunteers come and help for a week or so at at time. If helping with field trips (Outdoor Education) sounds like fun for you let us know!)

We are also prepping for our Fall Overnight Retreats, Outdoor Education Family Nights, a Father&Son Hike and so much more happening this fall. Because of the Flood happening last year we had to cancel many of these fall and winter ministries so we are excited to experience them for the first time.

Family Update

We are a family of 5 again. Our foster son, K got to go home to his family this month! We are so happy for him, and are still in contact with his parents and are getting pictures and updates from them. We are glad to see he is doing so well back home. It is bittersweet for sure. We are happy he gets to safely go home but we will miss him!

Piper and Jasper went back to preschool this month so Jude has had a bit of quiet time at home and coming to work with Tess.
