The Summer Wrap-Up July 2026

It went by so quickly! But there was so much to be thankful for:
24 Campers declared Jesus as Lord of their life! And if they are not already connected we are getting their families connected with a local church! Many others grew in their discipleship and some heard the gospel for the very first time. We never fully know all that will happen after camp but we know that God’s word will not return void.
Lee got to teach more of the Bible Classes each week. Classes were filled with lots of interesting questions! It’s always fun and encouraging when some 5th graders ask how to know what God’s will is and know you are following it.
Tess helped cover a lot of different jobs depending on the week. She helped some in the Dining Hall, the Office, and in Kid’s Club.
Summer Camp, like much of life, requires flexibility. Things go wrong but the staff this summer (full-time, college, high school, and volunteers) were amazing and creative in problem solving.
Next up: Outdoor Education! 🌦️
The next big thing is being prepared. Camp will soon be filled with dozens of schools, thousands of kids and teachers and so many volunteers! Please be in prayer as we set up this month and then 5 weeks of ministry in September and first of October. If you have a week free and want to see it yourself, please reach out to see what volunteer positions we still need! We would love your help (training, housing, and meals included)!

- Pray with us this month especially for our foster daughter, J’s case. So many decisions will need to be made, we know it’s in God’s hands.
- We also still have baby M, who is growing quick!
- Pray as we continue to find volunteers for our Outdoor Education program and have some days left we can fill with students!
- The kids start school next week! Jasper and Piper are starting 2nd grade and Jude will be starting Kindergarten.
