A Mid-Summer Update June 2026

What’s happened so far?

✅ Orientation June 1st – 12th
✅ Day Camp 1st-3rd grade June 9th – 11th
✅ Middle School Week #1 6th-8th grade June 14th – 19th
✅ High School Week 9th-12th grade June 21st – 26th
✅ Family Camp 6th-8th grade June 28th – July 1st

Orientation happened for the Summer Missionaries (high school and college age) teaching everything from evangelism to homesickness. I, Lee, got to lead a couple of sessions for Camp Activities on Wilderness Survial and did a session on Prayer! Tess worked on getting the Camp Store going and has helped immensely in the camp office.

Our oldest two got to participate in Day Camp this year! They had a lot of fun playing games, riding horses, swimming, and going to chapel! For the rest of summer they have all got to participant in Kid’s Club in the mornings. This is a program designed for the Mission Kids, and some volunteer’s kids, to have fun while their parent’s get some work done in the mornings of Summer Camp.

High School Week was double in size from last year! I got to teach again for the Digging Deeper activity during High School Week (This is an extra Bible Clas for those who want it)! 17 campers participated and we looked at the Book of Revelation. We learned some study methods like writing your own chapter headings and Greek word studies. We looked at the book as a whole to see how each piece fits together and how they connect to the larger themes in the whole Bible.

14 Campers so far have declared Jesus as Lord of their life! And if they not already connected we are getting their families connected with a local church!
