February 2023
The Distribution Center
Our Gym for the past few months has served as a Distribution Center, taking in enough donations of cleaning supplies, shovels, clothing, and more to fill it up. We then worked on getting it to those in need. And then it was filled again with office supplies and desks. These were then distributed to schools, businesses, and even fire departments that had been flooded and were rebuilding. The gym is now mostly back to it’s original state of being a open gym floor and just in time to welcome kids in for a Weekend Overnights!
Overnights are back in March!
Overnights are weekends filled with games, camp fires, amazing food, and worship. Please be in prayer for the kids and staff on these weekends! And if you’re in the area and want to get your kid involved, go to www.campnathanael.org/overnights!

Family Sunday School ← New!
We started a new Sunday School at Hindman First Baptist! We started this Sunday School because if you have small kids the idea of having time to study the Bible with other adults together feels more like a dream. So during the class the kids have fun playing while the adults and teens talk about scripture over coffee. Our first Sunday meeting was in February and we are working through the book of 1 John though discussion and conversation. We meet at 10am on Sundays at the Hindman Student Ministries building.
Family News!
We had a blast celebrating Piper turning 4 and Jude turning 2! If you didn’t know they were both born on February 23rd (2 years apart). Also since reopening our home for foster placements we have a new foster family member as of Friday, March 3rd! He is 2 and we’ll refer to him here as K. (And yes, that means we now have two 2-year olds and two 4-year olds!)

Pray with us!
- Pray for the kids coming and the staff working the weekend overnights!
- Pray for those joining us in our new Family Sunday School!
- Pray for K and our family as we adjust and learn more about each other. Pray also for K’s parents for life change, hope, and wisdom!
