February 2026 ☃️ ☀️
We had our annual audit this month. We invite in a 3rd party CPA each year to go over our books. I am happy to report this went really well. Tess also helped me quite a bit in helping gather information and receipts the auditors needed. Why share this? So that you know that camp, and me as the office manager, is handling all funds and resources responsibly and we are held accountable.
Hosting
We have some groups we are hosting this month! We also have work groups starting soon to help work on different projects around camp. This is always super helpful to help us prepare for summer camp!
College Retreat
The 3rd annual College Retreat had more campers than before. This event is growing with lots of new activities (some of which will make it into other events including summer camp). They heard the importance of the Gospel and the community it forms (aka the Church). The most exciting news, one of the campers responded to the Gospel and has put their hope, faith, and trust in Jesus.
During this retreat I, Lee, was able to sit down with 10 campers who were summer campers or served as volunteers during camp to hear some of their stories. Over the next couple of months their stories will be shared on The Voice of Camp Nathanael Podcast. We wanted to show that there are many young Christians serving Jesus while in college, work and in families.
Family News
Our foster son M is now back with his mom. We are so excited for her and their new normal.
Following up M going home we got a call for a another foster baby KK. She is a newborn from the hospital and has been with us for a short period of time. Be in prayer as we adjust and for her parents as case plans are formed.
We had some birthdays this month! Piper turned 7 and Jude turned 5! They share a birthday so its always really fun to celebrate.

- Pray for M and his mom as they get into routines and life together.
- Pry for KK and her parents.
- Pray for the College Student, who is now following Jesus! Pray they connect more with their local church and other classmates who are Christian as well.
- Pray for our weekend retreats coming up in March and April. We have high school, middle school and grade school kids coming different weekends, keeping us really busy!
