Thank you all so much!

We (all of us, including you) did it! Our family has officially started at Camp Nathanael! A few more supporters were able to join in and that allowed us to begin our training at camp. We could not have done this without your support and prayers.

What’s been happening at Camp?

Spring Breakouts took place on March 5th (45 4th and 5th graders) and March 26th (52 6th, 7th, and 8th graders). During these events kids were able to come for a full day of camp activities, worship, and amazing food! Many of the kids who came can’t wait to come back for a full week during the summer and 2 kids on March 5th made decisions to follow Jesus!

Work Teams came in March and updated some facilities including:

  • updating the Barn with a new concrete pad (we’ll be adding in a lift for vehicle repairs),
  • pouring concrete for our camper pads (to accommodate volunteers and families), and
  • adding restrooms to the Critter Barn “petting zoo” (to better accommodate campers and families).

Both of us have been in the office at camp learning the ins and outs of bookkeeping and other logistics. This helps keep all finances accounted for and allows the camp to maximize its resources to help people learn about Jesus and grow in their faith! Lee also did some shadowing for the Character Education Programs.

Pray with us!

April starts preparations and set up for our Outdoor Education: Pioneer Days in which thousands of students will come to Camp Nathanael! For a few of these students K- 2nd grades this will be their first field trip to Camp with their schools (due to Covid preventing them the past 2 years). Please be in prayer as Outdoor Education begins on April 20th.

Camp will also be hosting its annual Senior Citizen Days for locals. It will be a day filled with songs, food, and renewed connection. We are still taking some precautions to ensure the safety of everyone coming but are excited to welcome many back to Camp Nathanael! Please be in prayer as Senior Citizen Days happen on April 18th and 19th.

Also be in prayer for our family as we continue to settle in and get adjusted. Again, thank you so much for your support and prayers.
