March has been busy, and prepping for an even busier April!
Weekend Extravaganzas!
We had 3 different Weekend Extravaganzas this month,
- Grade School (4th-5th Grades) on March 10th-11th
- Middle School (6th-8th Grades) on March 24th-25th
- High School (9th-12th) on March 31st-April 1st
These events made camp feel like things are getting back to normal! There were lots of campers participating in worship, learning, and huge games of dodgeball. There were some salvation decisions and many kids are of course excited for Summer Camp!
Tess worked in the store (which is still not fully back together) during these overnights and took K to quite a few different appointments and visits. Lee taught some of the Character Education Lessons, recorded some new podcasts, and worked in the office.
April!
Our April weekends are booked! If you want to join us there will be many events geared towards adults at camp! Please be in prayer for these events as we aim to deepen relationships
Women’s Retreat
Friday & Saturday April 14th-15th $15
Camp will be hosting it’s first (in a long time) women’s overnight retreat! Sometimes a break from the everyday hustle and bustle is needed. Our Women’s ministry committee wanted to help provide an opportunity for women in all seasons to take a break from normal routines and join us for an overnight retreat. Pray for those in attending!
Men’s Event
Sunday April 23rd
Camp is also starting a new series of events geared towards men. This event will have competitions from a caber toss to cornhole and an amazing meal.
Married Couples Retreat
Friday & Saturday April 28th-29th $100
This will be the 32nd annual Married Couples Retreat. Couples from near and far will travel to deepen their relationship with God and each other.
Family News
K, our foster son, has been settling into our home and is doing well. He and Jude play well together most of the time! All of our kids have loved hanging out at camp with us as we work!
Pray with us!
- Pray for the campers who attended the Weekend Extravaganzas! These are kids and teens who are young in their faith and following of Jesus.
- Pray for the events coming up in April!
- Pray for the churches close to us! We never want our events to overshadow or replace the church. In fact they are specifically designed to empower our local churches (We always want to connect those who attend events with churches and many churches attend our events)!
