November 2024 🌇
I am writing this after Thanksgiving dinner with family. We are hoping to be up in the Lexington area around Christmastime so we hopefully will be able to visit some of you in that area!

What’s been happening at camp?
Weekend Overnights
We finished up our last Weekend Overnight with a camp full of Middle School Students. They played games, worshiped, sang, and ate good. This was the final overnight event of the year.
Maintenance Projects
Lots of projects were completed or at least started. This season is a good time for camp maintenance to repair and fix all the little and big things that have been put on the back burner. Like digging up drainage pipes needing repair.
Trails to Truth
Trails to Truth our horse ministry is finishing up their riding season soon. Riders in this program are in Middle and High school and some have gone from knowing nothing about horses to experienced riders and caregivers to the camp horses!

Thank you to Volunteers
We welcomed in many of the volunteers for a dinner at camp highlighting all the assistance and projects completed because of their help!

Women’s Conference on Saturday, December 7th!
Family News
We sent our annual Christmas Letter (a tradition we started about 6 years ago). In it we included a prayer card/magnet. Thank you for your support and prayers. We would not be able to do all that we can without y’all! We are trying to get this sent out to everyone subscribed to our newsletter, but still getting addresses and stamps. If you don’t receive one in the next week or 2 let us know!
Pray with us
Tess was in a car wreck a week ago not far from our home. Tess and M were in the vehicle when it slid off the road down the embankment. No other car was involved. Thankfully, the only injury is a bruise on Tess’ arm and M is fine. Neighbors helped and the van was taken to a junkyard. We currently have a rental covered by insurance. We are thankful for seat belts, car seats and airbags.
