This Season of Change

January has been busy to say the least! We transitioned out of our previous jobs on January 7th to allow us to prepare for the transition to Camp Nathanael. However, Lee tested positive for Covid that following Monday! We are very thankful he had a very mild case and none of the rest of us got it. We were able to see the good that came out of that, because we were able to prepare our house in Nicholasville to sell. We will have to be move out on February 23rd, which also happens to be Piper’s (turning 3) and Jude’s (turning 1) birthday!

How close are we to being fully supported?

We have spent the rest of January meeting with lots of friends, family, and church members telling them about the ministry of Camp Nathanael and how they can partner with us through prayer and support! We have thankfully raised around 60-70% of our support so far! We have many more people we are trying to meet with and feel confident that God will provide the last bit of the support we need allowing us to start working at Camp Nathanael soon! We are aiming for March. If we haven’t met with you yet we want to! Reach out and we will figure out a time to get together over coffee or a meal so we can connect with you personally.

We are already starting to move in!

We were able to celebrate Christmas with the Hendersons, Tess’ family, and enjoyed the chaos of having 6 kids age 3 and under. Our 3 plus 3 cousins. We were able to reserve a cabin at Camp Nathanael to use as a mini retreat for the family! We were also able to use our time in the area to start working on our new house (yes we bought a house!) and get to know some more of the other missionaries working at Camp! The kids enjoyed going down to the horse barn for the first time. It’s awesome to see how the Horse Ministry at camp is growing and the impact it is making in the lives of so many youth!

Pray with us!

February will bring a lot of unknowns.

  • Pray with us as we meet with partners and finish gathering our support team!
  • Pray with us as we transition out and finalize the sale of our old home!
  • Pray with us that our new home will be one we can welcome and bring together many friends and family!
  • Pray that we remain present where we are, even in this season of transition.

Thank you for all of your Support and Prayers! It means more that you may realize.
