Wrapping up 2021!
In the beginning of December we completed our support raising training. We met over Zoom with over 50 different missionaries going to all parts of the world to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. We loved talking to all the different missionaries and hearing about how God has motivated them, like us, to change lives. We are excited for what lies ahead as we begin full time support raising and finding partners!
We will be finishing up our current jobs next week on January 7th. We are excited for what God is doing at Camp Nathanael and we have been meeting with people on weekends and weeknights to share more about this ministry. It’s been amazing hearing stories of how God is moving though our partners lives. Thank you to everyone who is partnering with us in ministry!
What’s been happening at camp?
I, Tess, was able to attend a Women’s Encouragement Day at Camp Nathanael. We joined together to learn about joy from God’s perspective. It was amazing to gather with a group of women to be encouraged and challenged in practical ways to bring joy into our everyday lives. We were able to bring in speakers Kimmi Sparkman, a long time staffer and now volunteer at camp, and Jill Napier.
How can you be praying?
In January and February many of the Camp staff and volunteers will be preparing for upcoming events including:
- Overnights – Where kids are going to experience Camp Nathanael for a weekend full of games, food, worship, and learning about Jesus!
- Spring Outdoor Education – This Spring’s theme is Pioneer Days!
Please be in prayer for the children attending these events. For many, this will be their first time to Camp Nathanael and hearing the Good News that Jesus loves them and wants to transform their lives!
Praise! We have found a house. We are in the process of purchasing it. We will update more at a later date, but are excited for the personal family ministry we will be able to do with this.
